LoveDia Couture Fashion Show Case

FASHION in CHICAGO!!!!! On July 17, 2013 the sun blazed down on Chicago like butter melts in a hot pan and at 1758 W Grand LoveDia Couture was being launched. The Biz Mag just loves creative hard working people and Delcia Norwood, designer of Love Dia is extremely creative. Her bold colors blending with fun prints looks fantabulous on the body. The women she chose to use for her fashion display clearly represented what her line was about STYLE, GRACE AND CLASS. On top of the great fashion there were many vendors in the house such as EcCentric Sensational Candles where all her candles were made from soy, Contemporary Flavors highlighting the watermelon salad with Cottage cheese a vinaigrette and watermelon served in a shot glass, Cynt D.B with her sexy accessories and so many other great vendors. The night was hosted by Chundra Stanback of the Chundria Stanback Show; which is all about Beauty, travel and fashion things women love to do. Her vibrant personality kept the crowd happy and the night moving. Over all the night was all about business and you know were the is NEW BIZNESS , then The Bizness Magazine must be somewhere near.

CHICAGO GOT TALENT....

 

 

 

 

There are many things you can say about Chicago, IL and I have had my share of ups and downs but one thing that has not let me down is the mounds of talent that spills from this city. The best part about this talent is that it is so undercover. From the Thick Thursday's at Mr. Browns to the Comedy Tuesday nights at RedKiva my ears have been blessed abundantly.

 

On Saturday, April 20th The Bizness Magazine was invited out to cover an exclusive invite ONLY listening party at Paragons Studio. The crown was small but the crowd was unique, supportive and true movers and shakers of Chicago, IL. I wont dispose of any names but I will say that we had an amazing time and to top it all off the music was on point. This African brother, "Obisoulstar" and band took the vibes of Jimmy Hendricks and the energy of Chris Brown and made my insides dance from head to toe. The band is made up of 5 musicians two backup singers Bass and Soultry and the lead singer Obi. We The Bizness Magazine tip our hats off to this band and we look forward to there continued growth as they ride to the top.

On the night of the OSCARS Chicago went Hollywood as well. With six different designers and a three levels full of models in gowns everyone was ready and eager to place there votes. Gloria HATS hosted the red carpet with her vibrant personality and flamboyant  style she had all the guest feeling fashionably fabulous. While Isabella Viola graced us with her delightful bubbly beauty and the DJ, spun her hit tunes as the crowd networked and smiled to the great music. 

The event was put on by  Sandra Smith-Doghmi and Adel Shaw two of Chicago's finest fashionistas. Adel being a designer, hair stylist and event coordinator for the night did a fantastic job running the night while not  forgetting to showcase her very own BLACK Gown with draping Silver chains that laced her back. While her partner in Fashion covered Hollywood for the both of them and Sandra's better half  (Husband) held down the Chicago Oscars Designer competition with Adel. 

Now there were six amazing designers but like they always say someone has to be the winner and that OSCAR award goes to designer, Parijone' Lekal who showcased a sexy sleek red halter top gown with a daring split that ran up the leg and beautiful ruffles that adorned the bottom of the dress as model Julia Papillon strutted the red carpet and showcased the dress like a professional model. Some of the other designers were but not limited to Sheril Patrice, La Chambre d' Anit, Nichole Garlough and Fur Coat extraordinaire Christas. 

A night truly to remember. The Bizness Magazine gives Sandra Smith-Doghmi and Adel Shaw two thumbs up for an event well done.
