PHENOM is Phenomenal , from his educated lyrics to his big personality this young man took me by surprise. One of the first artist to meet who not only says he cares about his community and says he mentors to actually having people really from the community such as Alma Montes from Fist Defense Legal Access and mentees at his album release party. Phenom open the doors to the people he supports and in return they poured into the House of Blues with smiles on their faces and real emotions in their hearts.
PHENOM is the co-founder of Lyric Mentoring and is rightfully involved in Hip Hop Detoxx. He has performed in many places such as the I CAAN Festival and Poetry Unplugged in Milwaukee.
This guys stage presence is inviting, exciting and extremely emotional. He changes from a reggae tounge to a HIP HOP flow that's crazy in its own way and then gives you poetry slipping into a smooth relaxing flow. Intsead of yelling BITCH this and BITCH that PHENOM chanted NO MORE MURDER . His guest ranged form actor LaRoyce Hawkins to K Love who is a lyrical beast herself, to GemStones, Awthentik - the sickess hype girl I ever heard, to Lyric Squad, Hip Hop Detoxx and many more that just filled the night with greatness. The dim lights and candles placed at the tables gave a very grown and sexy feel but did not stop the crowd from chiming in with the DJ or grooving to the old school sounds of Notorious BIG. Which I might add was perfect mood music for the event. TEAM PHENOM is The Bizness and we are honored to have had the opportunity to not only interview him but watch him in his element.
